History

Visit Historic Deerfield where colonial America lives on. The world's largest manufacturer of firearms since 1852, Smith & Wesson offers factory tours and a museum showcasing its collection of historical firearms. Throughout the area are charming, historic villages where colonial and 19th century New England and American history come alive in cobblestone streets, antique shops, and picture-postcard village greens. And pre- and post-event visits can be made extra-special by enjoying one or the area's many historic inns and bed and breakfasts.
